What are we building?
QCG is an experiment in building a computer that does more
than process information. It governs how observed change,
evidence, judgement and action relate.
Energy enters.
Governance gives it form.
Freedom remains the bearing.
The constitutional method is:
Align · Balance · Communicate.
ABC is not decoration around the machine.
It is the method through which QCG acts.
One QCG
Purpose, Course, Reality, Continuity, Time, State and Δ
are distinguishable relations inside QCG — not separate
systems competing with it.
02 · Δ
What changed?
QCG begins from state. When state changes, the difference is
Δ. The machine does not need to invent a story before it can
establish that something changed.
Q(tₙ) → Δ ? → ABC → Q(tₙ₊₁)
A Human can press the Δ in the centre and declare a change.
On this public edition, that declaration is hashed and verified
against isolated in-memory demonstration state only. It does not
enter private custody, Runtime or ABC.

03 · EVIDENCE
Evidence before meaning.
If a Human declares a change, QCG first establishes that the
exact declaration occurred. The bytes can be identified,
hashed, placed into custody and compared with the resulting
observed state.

Evidence is preserved separately from interpretation.
04 · ALIGN
The first governance brain.
ALIGN asks:
What changed relative to Purpose, reality and course?
Reality and Continuity already have candidate criteria whose
exact identities can be verified by the machine.
Course has now been defined and cryptographically bound into
the Purpose contract.
Current engineering checkpoint
Reality: machine-verifiable.
Continuity: machine-verifiable.
Course: bound into Purpose; verifier wiring is the current
next step.
Freedom: still to be operationally defined.
Course is deliberately not invented merely because Purpose
exists. The machine currently knows what Course means while
correctly retaining:
CURRENT COURSE = NOT ESTABLISHED.
05 · RESTRAINT
Knowing when not to judge.
One of the most important capabilities being engineered is
restraint. QCG can possess evidence and verified identity
while still refusing to make an unsupported judgement.
INTERPRETATION: NONE
JUDGEMENT: NONE
ACTION AUTHORISED: NO
This is intentional. Classification authority and action
authority are separate. Evidence alone does not silently
grant either.

This is the surface.
The interface should become simpler as the machine underneath
becomes more capable.
The private Laboratory build sits above the experimental
Runtime, state identity, Δ detection, Human evidence custody
and the beginnings of ABC governance. This public edition
demonstrates those relationships without entering that system.

This public SHOW layer reads only QCG-WEB001's isolated
in-memory demonstration state. It has no route to BRIDGE001,
the private Runtime, Human custody or ABC. The private system
remains Laboratory-scoped and separately governed.
